Skoupý :

The first written mention of Skoupé dates from 1470, when the village, originally owned by the Milev Monastery, was annexed to Zvíkov. It belonged to him until 1581, when Adam from Kalenice became its owner, who made it the center of a small estate.
In the 16th century, the Kalenič family belonged to the better-off knightly families of the evangelical faith, whose ancestors are documented as early as the 14th century.
They derive their origin from the village of Kalenice near Horažďovice (South Bohemia). They maintained friendly relations with the Rosenbergs. Jan the Elder stood on the side of the Rosenbergs during their dispute with the princes of Plavno. Adam from Kalenice met Jakub Krčín with the Rožmberks, to whom the village of Skoupý was later attributed. Krčín brought Pavel Vaniš as the administrator of the fortress that Adam from Kalenice founded.
The fortress plot 22 stood in the middle of the village. Around it was a rampart filled from the stream. It originated on plot 9, on which stood the building later numbered No. 6, where Pavel Vaniš married.

Before 1637, they paid taxes on St. George's, Paul's and Christmas holidays:
penny, chicken, egg.

After 1637, Pavel Vaniš was no longer alive - the widow Dorota paid the taxes.
